Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is a sequel to Hideo Kojima’s cult game, created by Kojima Productions with the support of Guerrilla Games and PlayStation Studios. Will there be Russian translation and voice acting?
According to information published by representatives of the Russian retailer M.Video, the game will receive a full translation into Russian, including professional dubbing. This information is declared official, but it is important to emphasize:
- There is currently no mention of Russian language in the PlayStation Store.
- There is no information about this on the official Kojima Productions website either – the localization is not indicated there at all.

Thus, for now, M.Video’s statement remains the only source that speaks of the presence of Russian dubbing. This could be an early leak or internal information that the store has before others.
According to the same M.Video, official sales of physical discs in Russia will begin on June 26 or 27, 2025. There may be a slight delay in delivery, so access to the game on disc may be on the day of release or the next day. The retail price of the game will be 8,999 rubles – this is a preliminary price, and it may still change closer to the launch.
The game will also have early access, but it will only be available for digital versions. Owners of extended digital editions will be able to start playing on June 24, that is, two days before the main release. Owners of physical copies (including collector’s editions) will have to wait for the official start of sales .
The first reviews from gaming media and critics will start appearing on June 23 at 15:00 Moscow time. This means that the review embargo will be lifted just one day before the release. If you are unsure whether to buy, you should wait for the review. Pre-loading of the title is already available for owners of standard and extended editions. The game is just over 90 GB in size, which is about 30 GB larger than the original Death Stranding at the time of its release.
