A new day and a new simulation game… We closed our clothing store , put an end to the drug business and got bored of doing autopsies ; Now it’s time to shovel snow. Yes, thanks to a new early access game called Snow Plowing Simulator, we experience the simulation of snow plowing. The game opens with a screen comparing the early access version to the launch version, which can be very helpful. Thus, we can see what can happen in version 1.0 of the game .

As far as I understand, Snow Plowing Simulator will include snow plowing trucks, controller support, new snow physics, thieves, model improvements, the equipment in our vehicle will work, the gasoline system will be added, new equipment will be offered, tire wear will occur and our equipment may become obsolete in the release version and/or at a date close to that version. . However, all of these will be added to the game over time. The closest thing I’ve mentioned is equipment wear.

Our adventure in Snow Plowing Simulator begins with three different difficulty levels. After choosing the level that suits us, we find ourselves in the game world. Elements such as hunger, cold and life greet us immediately, and we also learn that there are elements of survival involved. Then we shovel the snow on the road in front of our office. This is our first business and it keeps customers coming to us. It’s like an instructional section.

Of course, we need a shovel to do our first job in Snow Plowing Simulator and we buy it from our computer. The game’s store includes different snow plows, tires, food, medicine, clothes and much more. Everything I mentioned has different stats and works for different things. For example, the first shovel you buy can shovel snow in an area of 50 square meters per minute and can shovel a maximum of 30 kilos of snow.

Snow Plowing Simulator is actually a relaxing game in the style of PowerWash Simulator . You pick up your shovel and shovel snow in small square areas until new, better equipment opens up. You open the front of your office, take on tasks from customers, open the front of their homes, etc., and you may come across fun side missions. For example, in one of the side missions, even a skill may be involved.

The basis of the Snow Plowing Simulator game is detailed enough. Different systems, mechanics and content are enough to keep you in the game for a while. It’s normal to get bored of the game in the long run; We are on the first day of the early access process, there is not much in the game. Moreover, not only survival and simulation, but also some light business management mechanics are included in the game. All this combined makes for a satisfying experience for a few hours.

Snow Plowing Simulator is also ideally balanced. I played the game on medium difficulty and the experience was both realistic and manageable. The game also offers several important settings, both regarding difficulty adjustments and adjusting game mechanics. So, once you enter the game, take a look at the Settings menu. Also, play the game in English, not Turkish; The translation is incorrect, poor quality and sketchy.

Everything is fine regarding the content, though. There are currently 21 different properties and 11 different roads in Snow Plowing Simulator that we can work on. Additionally, there are 5 different snow plows and 2 different vehicles. So, things are rich when it comes to using different equipment. There are also 10 fun and different side missions. The main quest line takes a little long and is annoying, but other than that, I honestly couldn’t see any other problems in the content department.

I think the biggest problem with the Snow Plowing Simulator game is its presentation elements. First of all, the visuality is not like the pictures and videos. Some in-game items look great, while others look like garbage. The marks on the snow when you walk are not bad, but there is no physics involved in collecting snow with a shovel; We take the snow as a sharp square. In general, when you look at it, it is a game that looks ugly and does not appeal to the eye.

The performance side is also problematic. Snow Plowing Simulator does not feel stable or fluid in any way, which I experienced with a laptop with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080. The technical aspect of the game is also weak; There are many small but numerous in-game errors, and they start to get annoying after a while. More importantly, there is no incredibly basic and critical game mechanic like autosave. From where? I’m really curious about this.

Voices and music don’t do much either. There are around 10 NPCs in Snow Plowing Simulator and none of them have voice acting. The sound effects sound nice at first, especially walking on snow, but then everything becomes very repetitive. There is no engine sound of the car and there are a few similar problems in the game. By the way, speaking of cars, it is not related to sound and music, but car control feels very realistic under the conditions offered by the game.

To summarize the situation, Snow Plowing Simulator is among the more relaxing simulation games. So, if you liked PowerWash Simulator or the Ship Graveyard Simulator series, you’ll probably love this game too. However, the budget of this game is not as high as them. However, if snow shoveling is something that interests you, I think there is 10-20 hours of entertainment that can be obtained from this game and you can give it a chance.
