Recently, it was reported that the release date of the next Rockstar blockbuster will be postponed. The developers allegedly reported that GTA 6 will hit the market in early or first half of 2026. A refutation from an unofficial source appeared.
Informants involved in the Grand Theft Auto brand are not sure that this is true . As the Rockstar Universe portal notes, the issue has not yet been resolved – GTA 6 has not been postponed yet. Portal participants have not received confirmation of Rockstar’s actions from any reliable source.
The service noted that at a recent meeting with investors, Take-Two owners assured that Rockstar is keeping up with the times and that GTA 6 will be released in the fall of 2025. So if the delay is real, the publisher will have to announce it soon.
There is nothing “exclusive” about this. There is currently no information to suggest a delay. Take-Two was confident during its earnings call that GTA 6 was scheduled for fall 2025.
